Simon is an experienced health and social care chair and non-executive director with extensive sector experience, gained over almost 40 years. He originally trained as a nurse and had an NHS management career before moving into independent healthcare management with the two largest UK providers and then into social care, working at board level. He has a master’s degree in change management and has worked for social care organisations. Simon works with organisations to ensure the effective, efficient and economic delivery of health and social care services, developing the capabilities of management teams through the implementation of strategic, operational and organisational change. She understands the pressures organisations face and recognises that while the dilemmas they face are not unique, the solutions may be. He has significant experience in working with business leaders to deliver results by developing their capabilities.
