Mark is health policy and management professional with thirty-five years international experience. He has worked for the NHS, NHS Overseas, UK Department of Health, Bupa Group and The World Bank Group.

He continues as a consultant to the World Health Organisation, mostly on the topics of health financing, hospital corporatization, public-private partnership and governance. Mark has worked on extended assignments in places as diverse as Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, India, Ghana and, most recently, Sudan; as well as in the UK and a range of EU countries.
